The 10 Steps of Becoming a Successful Surrogate Mother With A Family Tree Surrogacy

Step 2: Connecting with Intended ParentsAfter you have completed your screening you have the opportunity to speak with intended parents you are looking to have a family of their own. Step 3: Medical/ Psychological ScreeningAfter you have completed your application and received approval you can begin medical and psychological screening required by fertility clinics and A Family Tree Surrogacy.

Step 4: Surrogacy AgreementNow that your screening has been completed you will work with an attorney in drafting and negotiating a surrogacy / gestational carrier agreement which will serve as the legal foundation for the entire surrogacy journey. A Family Tree Surrogacy has unique and exclusive connections with surrogacy attorneys because our CEO is a surrogacy and reproductive attorney.

Step 5: MedicationsIn preparation for embryo transfer you will be given medications to help improve the chances for a successful pregnancy. These medications will all be monitored by the fertility clinic.
Step 7: Monitoring by Fertility ClinicAfter the embryo transfer you will be closely monitored by the fertility clinic to ensure milestones are met. Monitoring will include confirmation of pregnancy as well as confirmation of heart beat. The fertility clinic may monitor the pregnancy up to week 12 or until it is time to change care over to the OBGYN.
Step 9: Parentage ProceedingsIn the second trimester parentage proceedings will begin. Parentage proceedings are legal proceedings to insure that the Intended Parents are on the birth certificate of the child to be born.

Step 6: Embryo TransferThe day of transfer is a joyous and special day for both you and the intended parent(s). Under the specialized medical guidance of the embryologist and reproductive physician a single or multiple embryos will be transferred with to increase the probability for a successful pregnancy.
Step 8: Regular visits with OBGYNOften you can use the OBGYN you used in a previous successful pregnancy. Like in your previous pregnancy you will have regular check-ups with the OBYGN.
Step 10: DeliveryImagine being able to help someone else realize their dream of having a family of their own. The delivery is amazing time for everyone to share in the miracle of life. You get to make the decision about how you want the delivery to happen.
